Video: Audi R8 V10 Plus- Simply Amazing

Audi is no stranger to social media. In fact, it is our humble opinion that they are one of the most effective and most entertaining automotive manufacturers on Facebook, Google+ and especially Twitter. A few weeks ago while cruising the interwebs, we came across the following video highlighting Audi’s new R8 V10 Plus in the most simple yet effective way:

What we see here is a semi-nude R8 Plus on an AWD dyno in a well-lit room somewhere in Germany. There’s no spokesperson, no blaring soundtrack (except for the V10), no bells and no whistles.

Who would have thought that such a simple video could be so effective! We’ve got our deposits ready to go! But what will the estimated $180,000 get us? Definitely nothing like the Underground Racing Gallardo but here’s a basic rundown:

• Carbon-ceramic brakes

• 110 pound weight saving over the standard R8 V10

• 0-60 time of 3.5 (estimated)
